Last week, following his efforts to help formulate a cybersecurity agenda for the 2016 G7 Conference, Professor John Savage of Brown University's Department of Computer Science (Brown CS) addressed the Boston Global Forum (BGF) in an online dialogue moderated by former Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis.
In his remarks ("A G7 Cybersecurity Agenda: The BGF - G7 Initiative"), Savage, who is also a member of the Boston Global Forum G7 Summit Committee, reviewed best practices; detailed current norms between countries such as the USA, Russia, and China; and provided recommended models for Internet governance based on the most recent developments in encryption, surveillance, and international diplomacy.
John's slides for the talk and a video recording of it are available here.
