Lauren Clarke Wins A Brown University Excellence Award

Lauren Clarke, Academic and IP Programs Manager for Brown University's Department of Computer Science (Brown CS) has just received one of the highest honors for members of Brown staff, a Brown University Excellence Award. "The biggest challenge in putting together Lauren's nomination," says Department Chair Ugur Cetintemel, "was to make her contributions fit in limited space!"
The award recognizes extraordinary accomplishments of staff members, and President Paxson will present it to recipients at BEAR Day on February 21. All Brown CS faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Lauren is one of only thirty-seven staff members who received the award and is the only individual selected in the Innovation category (the rest are all teams).
